Second round, another opportunity: Thomann is organizing the DIY Kit Challenge again this year. At the #DIYKitChallenge22, musicians and music enthusiasts have the chance to win great prizes with an instrument they have created themselves from a Thomann DIY kit. First place wins a Thomann voucher worth €500 (second place €350 and third place €200). 

#DIYKitChallenge22: Build and design an instrument and win!  

There are no limits to creativity: everyone who wants to participate creates an instrument from a DIY kit from Thomann. They then present it in a video that they upload to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or YouTube with the hashtag #DIYKitChallenge22. Participants link the Thomann account on the platform they have chosen. In order to take part in the contest, it is a requirement that video entries are publicly accessible and the YouTube title contains the hashtag #DIYKitChallenge22. The maximum video length is 60 seconds.  

Contest period: April 18 to June 19, 2022  

The #DIYKitChallenge22 starts on Monday, April 18th at 12:00 pm and ends on Sunday, June 19th, 2022 at 23:59:59 (CEST). Only videos that have been published in the specified period will be considered for winning by the jury. A jury consisting of YouTube hosts from the Thomann channels and other Thomann employees will award the 3 best creations. They will selects the winners based on the following criteria: Originality, overall visual impression, quality and cleanliness of the processing of the DIY instrument and special craftsmanship (e.g. special optical designs, applications, decorations). In addition, the instrument must be both visually convincing and playable. Photos and video material from the construction process are very welcome and are gladly shared by Thomann.
