Latulippe « Grande-bouche » Gypsy # 001

Handmade in the small village of Saint-Calixte, near Montreal (Canada) by luthier VINCENT LATULIPPE - see his webpage for bio -

The D-hole gypsy is well suited for percussive rhythm. This guitar has played a lot and the finish has been redone in 2016. It has a lot of projection with the distinct gypsy sound. The oddity about this guitar is that the neck joints the body at the 12th fret while keeping a longer scale, that is why the bridge seems further back than the usual gypsy guitar. There are no truss rod and the neck kept straight for 12 years. It comes with a Saga gypsy hardcase.
